I started riding in 1995, racing was my primary riding with freestyle on the side. Not long after I realized that my true passion was for the freestyle. I started to take in serious and entering contest in 2003. After my first contest I knew that I was hooked and racing was done.This was when I really started to ride in Utah. I remember being the star struck kid at the local parks meeting hometown heroes like Beringer and Aitken. Riding has not always been the only thing occupying my time though.

Up until this year I have always had to balance my riding time and schedule with a full time job. There was so many times that my boss' would tell me to give up on the foolish childhood dream of making in BMX and just grasp the idea of making a living the 9-5 way. I finally got the break that I have been working so hard for when I won the first stop of the Dew Tour in Chicago. Ironically only months before I was laid off at my job and thankfully have not been busy job hunting since. I instead followed what I thought might only stay as what many called my "childhood dream" and since have been filling my days with as much riding as I can. Trying to keep up with the competition now a days is a full time job in itself. My goal for the years to come is to continue momentum in the direction it is going. I want to make sure that Chicago is not my only podium spot of my career.
