One of the coolest things about Redline's amateur sensation is that he has only ridden one brand on bike since the beginning ... a REDLINE, obviously. His first race was in Cottage Grove, Oregon -aboard an older chromoly Redline Mini. Once Dakota was hooked on BMX racing - it wasn't long before they need to upgrade to a better bike - and of course, they stuck with Redline and stepped up to a alloy Proline Junior.

Despite never racing an NBL or UCi race in his life, Dakota petitioned to be able to compete at the 2007 UCi World Championships - which were being held six hours and a ferry-ride up the road in Victoria, BC. And he was amongst many of the top ABA ams who brought home a World title to the USA that year - winning in the cruiser ranks on Sunday after scoring a second on Saturday aboard his 20".

NAG No.1 titles are no stranger to Senger; having earned the grey-background No.1 plate in 2007 and 2008. So far, defending that plate in '08 has been Dakota's biggest challenge - as he busted his ankle badly while training for the World championships in China. The injury put him out for most of the first part of the season, leaving him with a late points charge toward the end of '08. His comback began in July at Roseville and got his six wins in during the next three months. With a Grands victory, he was able to hold on to the NAG titles.

Most recently, Senger was invited to be a part of the Olympic Training Center's Jr. Development camp - where he stayed for a week training with other top Amateur racers. His highlight, of course, was getting to ride on the Beijing-replica track. Afterwards ,the USAC coaches were impressed and Senger is one a handful of riders who are on their radar for the 2016 Olympics.
