Carly Dyar

2009 ABA No.1 Cruiser

  • Hometown: Chandler, AZ
  • Riding Spot: Chandler BMX track

Don't ask us why, but the legendary Chandler BMX track and Redline Bicycles have long held some cool connection. Perhaps its because this is the track where Stu Thomsen made his Redline debut and accepted the keys to his No.1 Pro van? Or it could be due to Chandler BMX being the first ABA track, and Redline being the first of many items in BMX - including tubular forks, cranks, doubel-clamp stem and chromoly frame.
Y'see ... for nearly a decade, Redline sponsored Chandler local Kim Hayashi. And then along came George Goodall--who is not only proud to call himself a Chandler local, but does weekly BMX clinics out at the ABA's very first BMX track. (See ChandlerBMX.com for times and days.)
And for years, thanks to the coaxing of both Lil' Kim and Gorgeous George, we'd been watching and keeping an eye on the next fastest femme fatale' from Chandler -- Carly Dyar.

In 2009, Carly caught everyone's eye with a rewarding season that concluded with capturing the illustrious ABA National No.1 Girl Cruiser championship. As she hoisted the silver Cup above her head, we pretty much knew that it was time to bring her on board.  Not only would Chandler BMX have two No.1 Cruiser riders, but now they both would be aboard Redline Flight bikes.

In Carly's first year on Factory Redline, she quickly converted to the new bikes with ease and immediately fit right in with the HFS ("hot factory squad" as they like to call themselves). Carly continues to be atop the podium and she'll be doin' Redline bikes and Chandler BMX proud in the USA Cycling Jr. Devo races for the next couple of years.
