Van der Biezen wins final Dutch National of 2009

By Dutch National Team on October 01, 2009

The last Dutch National race for 2009 recently took place in Kampen (The Netherlands). All circumstances, like the track, accommodation and the weather were perfect. Fresh off the plane from teh San Diego UCi Supercross, Raymon van der Beizen seemed to have some jetlag, but he came ready to give it his all and to have fun on his custom Dutch Redline Flight bike.
On Saturday the Junior and Elite had to race time-trials. Just before that, they had one hour practice to get used to the track. Raymon seemed to have no problems on the track and put the fastest time on the clock for the third time this year. Fellow Dutch teammates Sander Bisseling took 2nd and Rob vd Wildenberg clocked in the 3rd fastest lap of the TT.
On Sunday there was some nice racing going on! Van der Biezen made it quite easy to the finals, after winning 2 of 3 motos and went on to snag first in his semi final as well. During the final, 5 of the eight in the gate were Dutch national teammates. Definitely the toughest of competitors.
Vd Berg took the hole shot, but Raymon flew past him down the second straight. No mistakes from there and van der Biezen crossed the finish line first.
