Redline's Logan Owen wins CX Nationals & keeps the streak alive
By the Cyclocross team on December 13, 2010
What do you say about Logan Owen, a great kid from Bremerton Washington that can "make magic" on two wheels. Logan kept his streak alive with victory number 6 at the National Cyclo-cross championships in Bend, OR.
"Ever since he could win a national 'Cross championship, he has won a national championship"-That was the quote from Nationals 'Cross announcer Dave Towle -From our very first Conquest 24 at age 10 to the current Conquest Team at age 15, Logan has won all on a Redline Cyclo-cross bike! Redline is very proud of the "Loganator" and his hard work and dedication to the sport of cycling. Logan first rode a Redline bicycle when he was just 5 years old, and he's never looked back.
Logan rode his race with all of the skills and smarts as any of the top Elite riders and took no chances once he got a 30 second lead. Logan had a clean start coming through the first pit in the lead, and then getting past the next two tricky and muddy off camber turns he was good. After that is was the "Logan Show" with Logan showing everyone what he is capable of. Logan never pitted, his Conquest Team "A" bike was flawless and he was able to keep his focus on the course.
