SAFETY RECALL NOTICE

Seattle Bike Supply is voluntarily recalling all 2008 Redline D640 bicycles

This recall involves all 2008 Redline D640 bicycles sold at bicycle specialty stores nationwide from December 2007 to May 2010 for about $900. The bicycles were sold in black and have aluminum frames. “REDLINE” is written down the frame’s tube. The model number is written on the frame’s top tube.

Seattle Bike Supply requests that you STOP USING the recalled bicycles immediately. Cracking in the head tube weld joints can cause the head tube to separate from the frame and cause the rider to lose control, posing a fall hazard to consumers. Contact a local Redline bicycle dealer to receive a free frame replacement.
