Flight School's Galore, the Warlock, TV Time, Four 7's, and Random Tour BitsBy Jason Carne$#99 on July 07, 2010Time flies on tour and I seem to get way behind on the ol' updates. There's a lot going on this summer so I'll try to give the 'Cliff Notes' version. After all the clinics and a Redline Cup Qualifier I headed out to Salt Lake City for the ABA/UCI July 4th weekend. The team kicked off the weekend with some TV time on a show called 'Mountain Views' on Park City TV. The ABA guys set it all up and we were stoked to be there hyping up the ABA weekend and of course, Redline's sweet 2011 bikes. The channel is part of the Salt Lake City cable network so hopefully we got a few people out to the races and didn't look like a bunch of goobers. The team did well on the weekend with Alise winning both days, Sam getting a 1st and 2nd, Tory with a 2nd and 3rd, and Denzel getting in the Elite main on Saturday. Me on the other hand ... I stunk it up with four 7th place finishes! How does that happen? I've got work to do. Anyway, the weather and track were perfect and nobody ate it this weekend (I'm always searching for the silver lining!). I've got a few weeks at home now to get in shape, then it's back out on the road for some more Flight Schools. I'll be checking in along the way. For now, check the recent pics:
