Race summary
Today we woke up at five o’clock in the morning and travelled to Maitland It was a three hour drive but I slept most of the time. Today I think is going to be a great day.

Moto one: I had lane four and I didn’t quite have a good start. But I pedalled down that start hill. Three people got in front of me so I was in fourth. On the second corner, I went under the rider in third and got in third.

Moto two: I had lane seven and I had a better start than last time. I was coming fourth. I pedalled hard round that big long corner hoping to jump the second double. But suddenly I thought that I wouldn’t have enough speed so I pumped it. I got a bit sketchy. I tried to catch up but they were too far ahead. I came fourth.

Moto three: I had lane one. I had a good start but I came out in third. This time when I pedalled around the first corner, I was being careful so I don’t go sketchy again. I knew Kyle was behind me so I kept the inside closed. I pedalled to the end and I came third.

Moto four: I thought we only had three motos, but we had four. I had lane eight, and I had an OK start. I came out in third.  I pedalled around that long corner and got some speed this time I didn’t go sketchy. The rider behind me was getting closer and closer to me but I held him by keeping my line. I came third.

Extra moto: I had lane two and I had the best start out of the whole day. I came out in third and I pedalled hard around the first corner. I wasn’t far off from number two. Also I wasn’t far off from Kyle behind me. On the last straight, he was really close to me but I came third.

I had fun racing the boys again. Overall, I came fourth and I won ten dollars. I wonder what I would get with that money..........
