Round 3 day 1.

The racing was in the afternoon on day 1. The weather was warm and the track was good. After an open practice for everyone, we had champ bikx warm-up and had our time trials.
It was my first time doing time trials because I missed out in Victoria after crashing in practise. I was feeling happy with my riding. My time trial ended up being pretty good. I got the4th best time overall.

I didn’t get a great start in my first race but came through the first straight good. I caught up to Max Cairns who was in 1st and I was in 2nd around the first corner. Max Dempsey came on the inside on the second straight and came past me and held me up on the second corner. I got pushed back to 4th there, but came back on the third straight. I was in 3rd around the last corner but Brendan Floriduz put a high-low on the last corner and came into the 2nd. I ended up with 4th.

I had a great start in my second moto but bumped into Max Cairns and lost my momentum. I stuffed up the first straight and was in 4th around the first corner. I caught up to Max through the third straight and went up the inside of him, but couldn’t get him and finished 4th.I

n my last moto, I hit the gate and came out slow. I pushed hard down the first straight and came into 3rd. I did a high-low on Max Dempsey and came out beside him, but my front wheel washed out and I crashed out. I got 6th and didn’t make it to semis. I was disappointed with the result but was happy with my preparation.
Round 4 day 2

Day 2 started in the morning and I preferred that more than the afternoon. We had some warm-up laps and started time trials.

My time trial was slower than day 1 but felt faster. I was happy with it and ready for racing.
I wheelied out big time in my first moto, but still got the first straight good. I was in 3rd into the first corner, but made a high-low move on Calob Green and put myself into 2nd. I stayed smooth all the way and finished 2nd.

I had a great gate in my second moto, but didn’t come across enough to get in front of Aaron Nottle. I was a bit floaty down the first straight and was in 3rd into the first corner. I kept my position all the way and got 3rd.
In my last moto, I came out with a good start and was in 2nd into the first corner behind Aaron Nottle. I was pretty smooth around the whole track and finished 2nd.

I had a good start in my semi- final but got pulled away into 5th on the first straight. I didn’t make the best move on the first corner and got pulled away again. I gained some lengths on the second and third straight and went for it on the last straight, but couldn’t get it and finished 5th.

I had fun racing and know what I need to work on so it was good.
