Conquest Classic enhanced reviewA review of the CONQUEST Classic posted on on January 18, 2010Cyclo-cross bikes and touring/commuting bikes have a lot in common. You want a good stable platform that can handle rough roads and the ability to carry a load. Thus, it should come as no surprises that many riders have found ‘Cross bikes to be excellent commuters for the urban jungle; especially when it comes to the reliably/stability of using wider tires for those rough shoulders and roads that riders will inevitably encounter along their commute. Attention to details - such as having chrome stays and fork legs, along with the durable double wall aero shaped Alex rims, are a postive sign of the care Redline took in designing this steel steed. One of the key points of detail is the use of a smaller-than-normal rear rotor disc (at only 160mm), which allows for easier rear wheel removal when making tire/tube changes. MSRP of $1149.00.
