reno practice

By Alise Post#11 on January 09, 2010

Yesterday we had practice for the famous Silver Dollar Nationals. It's always a fun race to kick off the year with and this year doesn't look to be a let down. Lots of riders and a pretty full facility always make the atmosphere great. There's always fresh new gear, people on new teams, new bikes, new sponsors, the whole deal. And of course, the infamous Grand Sierra Resort Hotel (Hilton formerly) with endless entertainment, and just about everybody thats at the race.

As for practice, personally I think it went "half-well". I am trying to focus on the first straight and fixing my gates this weekend, because they've been slacking. And as for that goal, I am doing good because I felt real quick down the first straight, and nice and strong around the track. However, my riding was no where near how I felt in Nerang, and I am hoping its just the fact of being sore from gym wednesday that I am a little stiff haha. We'll see how that plays out today. (I had Olive Garden last night and that always makes the weekend better =] )

Anyways, I gotta take a shower, get some breakfast, and head to the track so I will let ya know how the races go!
