Redline's Andrew Bennett out sprinted Kolben Preble (also riding a Redline) to claim the Oregon Junior boys 17-18 year old State champships in Salem, Oregon this weekend. The Championships were held at the Oregon State fairgrounds on a very creative course that included the livestock arenas and the motocross track. The course is basically flat, but two sandy sections and a driving rain storm made this a true test of Cyclo-cross skills. Andrew races on the Redline Conquest Team, with Shimano drivetrain, TRP brakes, Kool stop brake pads, and Hutchinson tires.
