Redlines duo of Logan Owen and Kari Studley raced to victory at Everett’s Silver Lake SCX cross race yesterday. Conditions were warm and windy with slight showers, but a tacky fast course greeted the racers. Logan squared off with local elite ‘cross man Gian Dalle of Don Walker over the first two laps, and then pulled away to solo home for the win. No mechanicals for Logan today as he looked faster through the tough sand sections every lap. This is another great tune-up race for Logan as he heads off this week to the first World Cups in the Czech Republic October 21st & 28th. Kari Studley pulled away from her competition after two laps too, and soloed in also. Kari like Logan had no mechanicals and increased her lead over the final laps powering thru the beach sand section.
