Redlines big night at Star CrossedBy the Cyclocross team on October 08, 2012
Redlines Logan Owen won the elite men’s race at Star Crossed Saturday night after battling Hagen Berman’s dual team of Steve Fisher and Adam McGrath. The night was dry and dusty and it hung in the air like a fog creating a surrealistic feel as riders emerged out of a cloud of dust. Logan attacked on the last lap coming into the Velodrome, and put a slight amount of distance between himself and Steve Fisher, McGrath was already off at this point. This was Logan’s first ‘cross race of this season and he shows good speed and tactical sense, just a tad rusty on his ‘Cross skill set. No worries after the terrific finish to Logan’s road season where he was second place at road nationals, 1st alternate to the Worlds team and second place to Tim Johnson at the Green Mountain stage race in Vermont.
