Race summary
When we arrived, I was very hungry so I had a vegemite and cheese roll. Very nice breakfast and I got warmed up and ready for my practice.

In my practice I was having fun jumping the second straight and I was planning to jump it racing.

For my first race I had a good stat and I came out in front. I cased the first manual and Erin came up next to me but I managed to get in front into the first corner. I pedalled around first corner to get the speed to jump the first step up. Then the wind caught me and it took me sideways but luckily I saved myself. I pumped the next double and pump jumped the next one. On the third straight, I did some good manuals through. I came first

On my second race I had lane three and I had a good start. I came across to the inside next to Emma O’Hearn I got my front wheel just in front of hers so I had the lead into the first corner. It was again too windy to jump the second straight. But on the third straight, I did something a little different and manualed in other different places which was pretty fun. I did some manuals again down last straight and came first.

I came out the front Jess McCormack just behind me on the last moto. It was a bit of a jumpy race this one. Because I jumped the step up on second straight and cleared it but I didn’t go for the next one because I thought I didn’t have enough speed. But I should have gone for it. But anyway, on the third straight I pump jumped the first one when I was pump manualing it before. I went pretty well and I didn’t lose speed on the straight. I came first.

On the final I chose lane one I had a really good start and I came near the middle of the track but still covering the line on the inside. I was in front and I manualed the double on the second straight. I didn’t case so I manualed the next step up table. On the third straight, I pump manualed and went sideways. It freaked me out a little but I stayed on track. I manualed, pumped and on the last two rollers, I jumped. It was my first time and I cleared it. It was small anyway. Well I pedalled to the finish and came first.

It was good racing on the Terrigal track and that was our last state series round for the year. There is only one more race until the States! I am really excited because it is my home track Southlake.
