Absa Cape Epic --Justin Lindine report--Stage 4
By the MTB Race team on March 30, 2012
Redline mountain bike racer Justin Lindine and his racing partner Jason Sanger made it through the fourth stage of the cape Epic today. Today’s stage was 105 kilometers long with two major climbs, described by other teams as windy conditions with a fast pace.
The dual of Justin & Jason are racing for World Bicycle Relief. Jason & Justin lost 1 hour and 30 minutes today, and dropped down to 26th in CG. We don’t yet if flats or fatigue played a major part in their dropping out of the top 20, we can only conjecture from watching the highlight video and being impressed at the magnitude of the course today. When you see what the riders went over in the climbs we would say that “Epic” is the best way to describe the race today and of course that must be why they call it the “Absa Cape Epic.”
