RACE REPORT EURO ROUNDS 7 & 8 KORTRIJK (BE)

Last weekend the Redline BMX Dreamteam raced Euro Rounds 7 & 8 in Kortrijk, Belgium. The Team was present with 11 riders. There were about 2.400 entries in two days and the level was very high.

We made 8 times the main final and had 5 podium places. In the double age categories almost all our challenge riders were the youngest and then you can see that age difference is just to big!

Indy Scheepers (10) made the finals (girls 11-12) as youngest in round 8 and got a 4th place.

Erik Peters both days made the main final 7th place.

Wessel van Dijk (10) and Rick Timmermans raced in 11-12 boys.

Wessel both days made it to the quarter finals and Rick to the 1/8 Finals.

Joey Ijkelen (12) and Nick Scheepers (13) made it to the quarter finals. Joey in round 7 and Nick in round 8 in the Boys 13-14.

Teun de Bock (8) made 1/8 final both days in the Boys 9-10.

Junior men Michael van Dam made the semi- finals in round 7

Jeffrey v.d. Biezen got a good 3rd place in round 7 main final.
In round 8 Jeffrey went out in de semis (bad luck)

Our “older” riders did very good.
Jeffrey Bignell was 3rd in the main in round 7 and 2nd in round 8.

Dynamite Leon Walravens won all races on both days in the cruisers 45+.

So it was a good race for the Redline BMX Dreamteam
